LokalHeroz the all inclusive store for men presents a creative event.
Just two steps inside and it was immediately clear what the night would bring. The bottles of champagne already standing, Joël Ferdinandus is checking the last things and helps a customer with selecting a jeans. It’s like you’re walking on a movie set, it feels like home. A few minutes later two stark naked women are coming from the store run and they seat oneself on the almost 3 meters high range guard seats. The environment had been put.
LokalHeroz gave the monthly promotion party on last 5 September. The customers get extra attention, can drink nice drinks and get introduced with the new concepts, clothes and stuff. Business relations acquire and even catch up ideas for their own shop or mark. As it had to go is also the press present. Joël, the famous owner and smart socializing man, tells concerning his shop…

The first customers, friends and business relations stream in. With David Bowie on the background, twisted by DJ Basskowski, promotes ONTFRONT his new spring line and talks Joël with his connections. DJ Basskowski, a.k.a.Remco, is an old school and real DJ. Without the newest pinches and with vinyl plates Basskowski spins beats of names such as Glass Candy, the Rolling Stones, Loud-E, Mike Dunn and ESG. His personal favorite? Double with “women of the world”. An artistic DJ who is appropriate very well with the blade of LokalHeroz.
ONTFRONT, a new concept that you can find at LokalHeroz, is introducing this evening his clothing as well. The concept leader and partner of the designer Liza, tells concerning the mark…
“ Why we sell our line in LokalHeroz? LokalHeroz aims for grown-up boys and young spirited men just like we do. ONTFRONT looks for the bridge between high end and street fashion. Because LokalHeroz provides the man for all clothing that he needs, appropriates the shop perfectly at our concept.”
Designer Liza is busy with the second line which is introduced in January.The young designer started design costumes for movie sets, but because of coming shortage putting creativity in her work she started designing the daily but nevertheless unique clothing of ONTFRONT. She aims the line on the critical consumer. From ONTFRONT we will hear more often in the future. The mark will be probably soon showed just outside the Spuistraat in Amsterdam. Furthermore there are plans for extension, introduction in outlets and the designer wants to conquer Scandinavia with her clothes.
Whereas there in the filled up shop people are socializing, drinking and laughing, is artist and graphically designer Ward Nicolaas busy with his newest work. Nicolaas is by chance contacted with Joël and that has eventually led to that his work has come to the walls of LokalHeroz and people can, just like almost everything in the shop, buy his work. You see the love of Nicolaas for the forties and fifties, graphic designing and harsh material back in all his work. “Past meets future” is in this case typical Nicolaas. This evening he’s busy with a work on jutes screen, with pages from an illustrated magazine from the forties and fifties on top of that the sentence “Here to save the nation” had been covered. By its manner of work he makes each time something unique, artistic, modern and even fashionable. Nicolaas hopes to open soon his own work shop in combination with a studio.
With a deadline of still a half hour because the party is almost ending, Nicolaas is trying to finish his work so that it can be sold, just as his other works hanging on the walls of LokalHeroz.
The night ends with the last tracks of DJ Basskowski and an applause for the nude artistic women, who have seated like three hours with a binocular on the high guard seats.
The combination of clothing, food, art, a great environment and quality turns LokalHeroz into a top shop. LokalHeroz is the place where a man can find everything he needs, but is especially a place where can meet and get inspired by the contents of LokalHeroz.
